AURICON supports the opta data group in the acquisition of ZAB Abrechnungsgesellschaft mbH

In close cooperation, AURICON and RLT fully advised the opta data group on the acquisition of ZAB Abrechnungsgesellschaft mbH in the areas of financial and tax. Subject to approval by BaFin, the opta data group will in future hold all shares in ZAB.

With the acquisition, the opta data group is strengthening its activities in the field of dental medicine as a leading provider of IT, billing and services for the healthcare sector. ZAB’s product portfolio includes billing, controlling, patient financing and factoring. Another focus is the regulation of reduced reimbursements. In addition, the focus on services for innovative start-ups in the healthcare sector offers additional growth potential.

For the experienced team of consultants from AURICON and RLT, the transaction is another successful project completion with the opta data group. AURICON carried out the financial due diligence through Dr. Kai Hüttermann (Partner) and Lukas Wenzel (Manager) and RLT carried out the tax due diligence by Claas-Tido Risse (Partner) and Saskia Thomae (Tax advisor). On the part of the opta data group, the transaction was managed by Jakob Stauber (Head of Corporate Development / M&A) and Dennis Wolff (Senior Manager Corporate Development / M&A).
